Supply of Varicella Zoster Immunoglobulin (Varitect® CP) is authorised by:
• Duty Virologist at the Regional Virus Laboratory Tel: 078 89086946 (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm)
• Outside office hours, the Virologist on call, Belfast Trust via switchboard Tel: 028 90240503
Once authorised, clinicians outside of the Belfast Trust need to complete the Inter-Trust pro-forma and contact local Trust pharmacy to liaise with Belfast Trust Royal Victoria Hospital Pharmacy for supply.
