Managed Entry decisions are published on a monthly basis. However, should a request for treatment meet the relevant criteria from an established UK Technology Appraisal body i.e. NICE, SMC or AWMSG, the SPPG may consider such requests in advance of the publication a formal Managed Entry decision. If further clarity is required regarding the commissioning position of a particular treatment not listed on Managed Entry, a query may be submitted to the CPC inbox (cpc@hscni.net).
In the event that a treatment is not routinely commissioned via the Managed Entry Process, an Individual Funding Request (IFR) may be appropriate and can be submitted to ifrs@hscni.net for consideration by the IFR Regional Scrutiny Committee.
