Under the revised circular ‘HSC (SQSD) 3/13 for NICE Clinical Guidelines – Process for Endorsement, Implementation, Monitoring and Assurance in Northern Ireland’, all clinical guidelines are issued directly to the Health and Social Care (HSC) service by the Department of Health (DoH). This process came into effect on 18 December 2013.
All DoH endorsement letters issued for action by HSC Board, Public Health Agency (PHA), HSC Trusts, family practitioners, Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA), HSC special agencies and non-departmental public bodies are available to download at: http://www.hscboard.hscni.net/nice/recommended-clinical-guidelines-cgs/
